GD Constable Jobs 2024 :As per the Recruitment Scheme formulated by the Ministry of Home Affairs (MHA) and as per the Memorandum of Understanding signed between Ministry of Home Affairs (MHA) and the Staff Selection Commission (SSC), the Staff Selection Commission will conduct an Open Competitive Examination for recruitment to the posts of Constable (General Duty) in Border Security Force (BSF), Central Industrial Security Force (CISF), Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF), Indo Tibetan Border Police (ITBP), Sashastra Seema Bal (SSB), and Secretariat Security Force (SSF), Rifleman (General Duty) in Assam Rifles (AR), and Sepoy in Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB). The recruitment process will consist of Computer Based Examination (CBE), Physical Standard Test (PST), Physical Efficiency Test (PET), Medical Examination and Document Verification. The salient features of the Recruitment Examination are as follows:

  • Pay Level -1 (Rs 18,000 to 56,900) for the post of Sepoy in NCB and Pay Level – 3 (₹21,700/- to ₹ 69,100/-) for all other posts.
• Vacancies : 39,481
• Age : Minimum 20 years and Maximum 23 years as on cut-off date. However, relaxation in upper age limit for categories like SC/ST/OBC/PWBD etc. as per Govt. of India guidelines is applicable. • Qualifications :The candidates must have passed the Matriculation or 10th Class Examination from a recognized Board/ University as on or before the cut-off date i.e., 01-01-2025.

• D Persons affected by 1984 riots : 5 Years
• E Widows, divorced women and women legally separated from their husbands who have not remarried Age concession up to the age of 35 years for General/EWS, 38 years for OBC and 40 years for SC/ST candidates.
